2026 North Dakota All-State Soprano Clarinet Etude
Here is a video of the 2026 North Dakota All-State Soprano Clarinet Etude. A couple of things to consider when working on this etude:
Make a big deal out of the the various articulations.
Be sure to alternate pinkies.
Measure #11 is a pain! Practice this one slow and clean before moving up in tempo.

Here is a video of the 2026 North Dakota All-State Bass Clarinet Etude. A couple of things to consider when working on this etude:
Make sure NOT to breath every measure. It really breaks up the musical line.
Light tonguing on the staccato section.
Fight the urge to articulate the last note. And keep the air moving on that last arpeggio.
